Appointment of board members

Croda International Plc announces two appointments to its Board.

Steve Williams joins the Board as a non-executive director. Steve has recently retired as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer of Unilever plc and Unilever NV.  Prior to joining Unilever in 1986, Steve spent 11 years at Imperial Chemical Industries PLC in the legal and company secretarial departments.  From 1995 until 2004 he was a non-executive director of Bunzl plc.  In 2004 he joined the Board of Arriva plc where he is Senior Independent Director.  Since 2008 he has been a non-executive director of Whitbread PLC and he is also the Senior Independent Director.  Steve is chairman of the De La Warr Pavilion Charitable Trust and acting chairman of Arts & Business.

Steve Foots, President of Croda Europe, joins the Board as an executive director. Steve joined Croda as a graduate trainee in 1990 and has held a number of senior management positions in the Group. Steve has been a member of Croda’s Executive Committee since January 2007.
