Originally formed in 1955 as a joint venture company with the Italian woolgrease manufacturer, Marzotto, Croda Italiana became wholly owned in 1963.

Located in Mortara, a small town near Milan, it sells a wide range of natural based specialities and oleochemicals to the personal care, health care and nutrition, home care, crop care, lubricants and lubricant additives, polymers and coatings, polymer additives, and general industrial markets.
