Lipid repair

Lipids are found on the hair surface and have a role in maintaining healthy-looking and feeling hair. Due to their location on the hair surface, they are particularly vulnerable to being stripped from the hair fiber from grooming, chemical and environmental stressors. This is usually recognized as unmanageable, hard to comb hair that lacks natural shine.

It is expected that lipid replenishment will result in healthier looking and feeling hair as well as protect the hair from further damage. Cutissential Behenyl 18-MEA and Cutissential 18-MEA 40 were developed as a means of replenishing this important lipid.
