Croda Polymer Additives is headquartered in Cowick, UK, and has sales offices in more than 60 countries around the world. The business has grown in recent years to secure its status as a leader in the global supply of naturally based speciality chemicals for the polymer industry.
Croda Polymer Additives provide the following effects: anti-fog, anti-static, mold release, pigment dispersion, slip & anti-block, torque release, UV-absorption, & speciality plasticisers. Croda’s brands for these products are: Atmer, Crodamide, IncroMax, Incroslip, IncroMold, Solasorb, & Priplast.

The Polymer Additives product range has continued to grow and now includes over 200 products. Croda has the widest range of products, product forms, and packaging to meet customer needs. The product range has continued to grow as we have developed new products to meet customer and market requirements. In September 2006 Croda acquired the Uniqema business from ICI. Croda Polymer Additives is a fully integrated and combined business bringing together the best technologies, people, and products from each area.
All our business is supported with global technical experts and high quality manufacturing facilities. We believe in providing local dedicated sales teams and stock-holding close to our customers to give the best possible customer support and service.
Croda’s innovation is a continuous process with new products being launched at regular intervals. As well as maintaining leadership in established areas Croda now offers unique products in non-organic UV-absorber, and speciality plasticisers for the most demanding applications. |

Constant investment in new plant and equipment make our global manufacturing sites amongst the most modern and flexible plants within the industry. Our concentrated effort in developing products from natural sources has also given us a lead in additives for the growing biopolymer markets.
In Q4 2008 Croda commissioned a 2MW wind turbine at the Hull site in the UK which is now generating a considerable proportion of the energy required by the site. This combined with energy efficiency savings has lead to exceptional reductions in Croda’s carbon footprint, demonstrating Croda's investment in the future.
