Sederma – Actives
Founded in 1964, Sederma became part of Croda in 1997. Combining advanced biotechnology with state-of-the-art equipment and manufacturing techniques, Sederma is a world leader in the field of active ingredients (actives) for skin care and, more recently, hair care. It has developed a unique range of biochemical actives, with substantiated efficacy, for sebum regulation (‘adjusting’ dry or oily skin), wrinkle reduction, skin firming, protection from free radicals (which cause skin damage) and a host of other benefits.
Located at Le Perray-en-Yvelines in the Rambouillet forest, close to Paris, its modern 70,000 sq ft complex houses all Sederma activities including sales, R&D, manufacturing and storage.

Crodarom - Extracts
Crodarom founded in 1998 in France manufactures a wide, exciting and innovative range of traditional and microwave plant extracts, for use in personal care and industrial applications.  It operates to the highest ethical standards, using, wherever possible, products derived from plants that are organically cultivated and grown without the use of pesticides or synthetic fertilisers.

Crodarom's state-of-the-art manufacturing facility at Chanac, in the Lozere region of France, uses unique and patented microwave technology to extract the actives from the plant – a process which is much quicker, with much less degradation than traditional solvent extraction.  The result is paler, purer and safer products, ideally suited to modern product applications.

Seatons – Natural Oils
Seatons was formed in the 1840's in Hull, England and has been part of Croda International since 1970.  The company has developed a comprehensive and unique range of cosmetic grade vegetable oils and butters for the personal care industry.  Using a wide range of exotic seeds, nuts, pips, and cereal grains from around the world, Seatons can supply cold pressed or refined, pure natural oils and butters.  Many of the products are available in organic grades as well.

These richly emollient butters and oils often contain essential fatty acids.  When incorporated into skincare, baby care, hair care as well as many other formulation types they moisturise and protect the body.

Seatons cosmetic oils and butters are supported by a formulary and marketing support data to enable customers to incorporate Seatons' range into efficacious products.

UV protection
