John L Seaton & Co Ltd was established in 1840 by Mr John Love Seaton to produce colza oil (known today as rapeseed oil) as an illuminant and became part of Croda International in 1970. 

Based in Hull, East Yorkshire, the company’s product range includes raw/crude, refined and processed vegetable oils such as linseed, rapeseed, castor, soyabean and sunflower for technical applications.

In addition to the technical products, a range of cosmetic oils, such as jojoba, olive, macadamia and sweet almond, has been developed for personal care applications.
