I started working for Croda in April 2011. For the previous 10 years I worked in the management of research and product development team at another specialty chemicals company. My new role at Croda focused on the search for new opportunities to sell our specialties and the opening of new development projects with customers in Latin America. It was a time of great integration with research and technology, quality assurance, production, marketing and sales teams that allowed me to understand details of the way Croda performs its activities and routines from different areas of the company.
In early 2012 I was given the responsibility to lead the synthesis group in the role of Research and Technology Manager, where we expanded the research and technology structure to support our customer needs.
The application laboratory supports projects with customers from industrial market segments. Due to my experience over the previous 3 years with the synthesis group developing products for all market segments in which the Croda operates and my professional experience in developing products for customers of different industrial markets, I received the responsibility to manage the activities of this new group and develop the technical team responsible for supporting sales representatives to gain approval of our products into our customers' formulations.
In January 2016 I received a new challenge to add to my responsibilities; the management of the Product Validation and Claim Substantiation laboratory (PVCS) and the cosmetics formulation laboratories in Brazil and Mexico.
