Croda do Brasil was established in 1974 and the Campinas manufacturing site in 1977. Our site has approximately 140 employees. Wool grease derivatives production started in 1981. Today, the site still produces wool grease derivatives and a wide range of other products including lanolin, esters, and refined oils, serving all of Croda’s business units.
The city of Campinas (which means ‘grass fields’ in Portuguese) is a Metropolitan Region consisting of 20 municipalities, with close to 3 million people, and part of the Southeast Region of Brazil. Campinas has two distinguished universities, UNICAMP and PUCC.
