Croda has been present in China since 1993, starting with a handful of sales and customer service employees. The operation was officially formed in Hong Kong and Mainland China in 2006. Our offices are located in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Beijing, Mianyang and Hong Kong, supplying natural-based specialities and oleochemicals to all our sectors.
In July 2013, we acquired a 65% equity interest in Sichuan Sipo Chemical Co. Ltd (Sipo), a non-listed natural speciality chemicals manufacturer in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. This extended our product range and increased our manufacturing footprint in Asia.
Employees across China use the Croda 1% Club for community activities. We have also sponsored local primary schools and take part in annual charity runs.
