Close to customers: global operations

By building direct relationships with customers, rather than using distributors, and collaborating with them at Croda innovation centres around the world, we gain a detailed understanding of their needs helping us to identify new opportunities. Our agile, decentralised operating model enables our ‘One Croda’ culture, aligning our global footprint with local sales, R&D and warehousing.

We operate globally with a balanced footprint across 92 sites, constituting global manufacturing, with local sales offices and innovation centres. Our footprint balances the need for efficient manufacturing operations with our desire to be close to customers. Our 24 principal manufacturing sites are complemented by 19 local manufacturing sites that typically support our Fragrances and Flavours and Seed Enhancement businesses. All our locations have externally validated decarbonisation roadmaps in place.

Where we operate

As of December 2022, all of our locations have approved 2030 decarbonisation roadmaps,
as part of our ambition to become Climate Positive.
