As we reach the end of our centenary year, we pause to reflect on what 100 years of Croda truly represents. This milestone is far more than a measure of time, it is a celebration of the people, science, and values that have shaped our journey since 1925.
Throughout 2025, teams across the world have commemorated this remarkable achievement in ways that reflect our culture, community, and shared Purpose. From Barcelona to Singapore, each celebration honoured our history while embracing the opportunities that lie ahead.
Croda Iberica: Celebrating team spirit
On 23 September, colleagues from Croda Iberica came together at our Barcelona office for a day of reflection and collaboration in honour of Croda’s first century.
The programme focused on three themes that exemplify our culture:
- Our Purpose and values – reinforcing the principles that guide our work and connect our global teams.
- Sales and market growth – recognising achievements and exploring future opportunities.
- Customer focus – sharing insights on innovation, collaboration, and building long-term partnerships.
Two team-building activities inspired by Croda’s heritage brought colleagues together in celebration of how far we have come.
Mireia Dalmau, Business Development Coordinator, shared: “It was more than a celebration, it was a moment to strengthen our sense of belonging and look forward with optimism.
Navigating the future of innovative ingredients
Croda Poland: A new hub for innovation and collaboration
For Croda Poland, the centenary coincided with another major milestone, the opening of a new office at Unity Square One in Kraków.
The space reflects our values of being Responsible, Innovative, and Together. A highlight of the new office is the Customer Experience Room, an interactive setting where customers can participate in live formulation demonstrations featuring Croda technologies.
Edyta Jaworska, General Manager, said: “Our move reflects our ambitions and values. It enables us to provide a cutting-edge environment for our customers and employees while staying true to our sustainability goals.”
The LEED Gold certified office runs on 100% renewable energy, incorporates energy-efficient lighting, and promotes sustainable commuting. It is an embodiment of our commitment to responsible growth.
The move marks both 30 years of Croda Poland and 100 years of Croda International, symbolising a future defined by innovation and Smart science to improve lives™.
Croda Italiana: Honouring the past while celebrating the future
In Italy, the celebrations on 22 October brought together colleagues from Mortara and Altavilla to recognise three significant anniversaries: 100 years of Croda, 70 years of Croda Italiana, and 25 years of IRB.
The day began with a visit to Ente Risi, the national rice research centre, where teams explored the science and tradition of rice cultivation, a fitting nod to Italy’s agricultural heritage and Croda’s commitment to innovation. Lunch that followed was a culinary tribute to rice itself, with a specially curated menu that sparked conversation and connection.
Back at the Mortara site, colleagues took part in guided tours and an interactive quiz on Croda’s history, bringing friendly competition and a shared sense of pride. Retired employees also joined the festivities, adding a touch of nostalgia to the occasion whilst allowing our people to converse about the history of our Italian sites.
Croda Singapore: A night among the stars
On 24 October, Croda Singapore marked the centenary with an elegant evening celebration themed ‘A Night Among the Stars.’ Colleagues, senior leaders, and members of our Board of Directors gathered to honour a century of progress, innovation, and shared achievement.
The event featured Long Service Awards to recognise employee commitment, followed by a champagne toast and a cake-cutting ceremony to close the evening.
Singapore continues to play a pivotal role in Croda’s global journey, delivering excellence in operations, safety, and community engagement. As we begin our next century, the team remains committed to our shared values while continuing to build a legacy of meaningful impact across the region.
