Britains Most Admired Company in the Chemical Sector 2017
Croda International Plc who make ingredients and technologies that are relied on by industries and consumers everywhere, are celebrating being named Britain’s most admired company in the chemical sector and Britain’s 16th most admired company overall.
The renowned Management Today awards are the largest awards of their kind in the UK; they highlight corporate reputation by recognising key factors critical to business success, with winners identified by means of peer review.
Steve Foots, Chief Executive of Croda said; “We are proud of our British heritage and to be named Britain’s most Admired Company in the chemical sector is a fantastic accolade, we are delighted to collect this award. For our achievements over 2017 to be recognised in this way by our peers, and the investment community, is testament to the dedication and hard work of our employees across the globe.”
Organisations are scored against 12 categories; including quality of management, financial soundness and community and environmental responsibility, the latter category seeing Croda ranked 7th best in Britain. Opinions are sought from more than 200 Board members at some of the UK’s largest companies, as well as analysts and City commentators.
