Continued recognition for environmental efforts in FTSE4Good Index Series

22 August 2022: Croda International Plc, which uses smart science to create, make and sell speciality chemicals, celebrates further recognition of its leadership approach to sustainability, as it continues to be included in the FTSE4Good Index Series.

Created by the global index and data provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices in health and safety, anti-corruption, climate change and corporate governance.

Businesses included in the FTSE4Good indexes, which are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds, are assessed against strict criteria aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Croda’s Group Sustainability Director, Dr Julia Creasey said: “To continue to be included in this Index, along with other like-minded socially and environmentally responsible companies, is a welcome acknowledgement of the strong sustainability focus across Croda.

“At Croda, sustainability spans every area of our business and is a crucial way we add value to our customers and shareholders. Through our Commitment to science-based targets and the UN SDGs, we will be the most sustainable supplier of innovative ingredients, continuing to conduct business in a way that ensures planet and society are better as a result of our activities.”
