Croda Awarded Best product innovation at the Global ICIS Innovation Awards

Croda International Plc, who create, make and sell innovative, sustainable, high performance speciality chemicals that are relied on by industries and consumers everywhere, are delighted to have been awarded ‘Best Product Innovation’ in the Global ICIS Innovation Awards 2019.


The award was given to Croda’s novel patented star shaped polymer molecule, which serves as a building block for the development of more stable and effective product formulations across a range of industries. Applications for this polymeric non-ionic surfactant include: stabilisation for animal health vaccines; friction modification for automotive applications; emulsification and drift reduction within agricultural applications; as well for enhanced performance of oil-water emulsion systems within the water treatment industry.


Using smart science, this unique polymer enables Croda’s customers to improve lives as they create products that work more efficiently due to the innate stability properties it provides during product formulation. The superior performance of this molecule also extends formulation shelf life, enabling the development of stable complex formulated products, whilst also generating less waste, resulting in more sustainable products.
