Leading Work on Palm Oil Recognised by CDP

CDP is a non-profit organisation that benchmarks companies’ environmental impacts against their peers. In 2016 Croda was only one of a handful of global organisations who scored an A- in the CDP Forestry Report for Palm Oil. The Forestry Report identifies the largest and most impactful companies who are committed to working towards a deforestation-free supply chain.

2016 also saw Croda maintain its ‘B Management’ rating in their water disclosure against the programme average of ‘D’; achieving a climate change disclosure rating of ‘B’ against the programme average of ‘C’; achieving a supply chain climate change score of 'B' compared to the programme average of 'D'.

Croda is one of the few companies globally to disclose data against all four CDP programmes on Water, Climate Change, Forest and Supply Chain.

Chris Sayner, Vice President, Customer Alliances at Croda commented: “We are fully committed to minimising our impacts on the environment; our transparent disclosure of data against all four CDP programmes is illustrative of this.”
