Sustainability expert Aris Vrettos joins Croda

5 July 2022: Croda International Plc, the company that uses smart science to create high performance ingredients and solutions that improve lives, is delighted to announce that Aris Vrettos has today joined Croda as Director, Sustainability Strategy and Transformation. The position will be Aris’ first within a commercial organisation, having previously been the Director of the Centre for Business Transformation at the University of Cambridge’s Institute for Sustainability Leadership, UK.

Having trained as an economist, and with more than 15 years’ experience at the forefront of sustainability science, policy, finance, and business leadership, Aris will challenge Croda to stretch its already industry-leading sustainability ambitions and commitments. The new position will also see the sustainability expert support Croda’s business sectors in further enhancing their sustainability strategies by working in partnership with their customers and suppliers. In addition, Aris will oversee development of the sustainability competencies and training programmes required across Croda to enable every employee to contribute to achieving the company’s Commitment to be Climate, Land and People Positive by 2030.
