Chocques Expansion Update
Commissioning is already underway for K68, an €18 million capital investment at Croda’s Chocques manufacturing site in Northern France. The significant investment will see a new fast and flexible reactor built, which will increase capacity at the site by 20%, improving production capacity and capabilities in Europe.
The extra volume will allow Croda to meet the ever increasing demand for some of its most renowned surfactants within the Tween, Brij and Myrj ranges, as well as significantly improve the flexibility of production across the site.
The new alkoxylation production facility will become fully operational late 2017, this video shows how this investment will enable improved service to European customers in a wide range of industries from personal care, crop care, and health care, to speciality lubricants, polymers, and applications into oil, gas and mining.
