2003
I started working at Croda in 2003 as Commercial Assistant. I had just graduated in Marketing Communications, and my aim was to work for a multinational company where I would be able to grow professionally. My main role at this time was supporting the sales team with the communications to customers. In this position, I also supported the Marketing team on projects around product communications, technical literature and customer presentations.
2006
In 2006 I officially moved in to Marketing, I was so delighted to be able to practice my skills in this area as well as starting to be in contact with the people outside Brazil, speaking other languages and learning about the markets where Croda was present in Brazil. In the following years, with the acquisition of Uniqema, marketing had a very important role during the transition and integration process, I was very involved in the projects around product and brand integration, market and customer communications and the interaction with the new sales people and the understanding about the new business.
2010
In 2010 I was promoted to the position of Marketing Coordinator, with responsibility for Crop Care and the Industrial Specialities markets. I am so proud to be part of the team that started to build Croda’s branding in those markets not only in Brazil but also in all Latin America. The marketing role at Croda Brazil changed and we began to work in with all of the Latin America countries. Croda gave me the opportunity to learn different cultures and be in contact with multidisciplinary teams to gain common results for the company. During this time I was finishing my Master Degree in Marketing, which gave me a deeper view on Marketing Strategy and Business Planning.
2012
In 2012 I was given the position of Marketing Manager for Latin America being responsible for the Performance Technologies and Industrial Chemicals markets. This role was the start of my experience as a leader having a team in Brazil to work on regional needs and global strategies. The PTIC markets developed in Latin America and I could actively participate in this process, bringing to the company relevant market information and being a key communication contact within the regional and global teams. During this process I acquired strong knowledge about Croda’s markets and customers. I am proud to have created a great relationship with friends in all parts of the Croda world!
2016
The most recent challenge I have is an additional role as Sales Development Manager for Home Care in Latin America. I have now the challenge to lead and support the Home Care Sales Team on the sales growth, new business development and global strategy implementation in the region.
